For a prize this week, we would like you to leave a comment about....um....I don't know...anything? If you leave a comment with your initials and you're one of our middle schoolers at FPCW, you will receive a prize on Sunday morning. Have a great week!

Here's my comment, with a question: What is a commission?
ReplyDeleteSee y'all on Sunday!

Ok so I have a question... Do you think when god kills the earth that all the angels will come and live on earth with the new people since he will make it heaven on earth????
ReplyDeleteJaP: spahgetti-o's are awesome
JaP: Great question! A few verses for your consideration.
ReplyDelete1 Corinthians 6:3 "Do you not know that we are to judge angels?"
Hebrews 13:2 "Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."
We will serve God alongside the angels. The one verse I'm looking for, however, is one where many "preachers" claim we have a guardian angel. Nevertheless, they are created beings just like we are.
Keep those awesome qustions comin'!

@ JaP: The sermon podcast is loaded weekly by our office person either on Monday or Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteI can totally see why listening to it at home might not be so boring, especially when friends are sitting next to you being kind of distracting sometimes, huh?
Check the podcast every week. If you have an iPod, you can subscribe to the podcast and listen to past sermons on your iPod.
Oh, and by the way...Relient K just happens to be one of my favorite bands, as well. They are a Christian band...they don't really do a lot of bold speaking about Jesus, but they're starting to come around that way a bit. You might also check out Lincoln Brewster, Chris Tomlin and Casting Crowns, to name a few.
JC, also known as JS, ...how 'bout JCS? HA!
